Job summary

Action Against Hunger Philippines is seeking a Program Manager to lead planning, implementation and monitoring of technical activities for donor-funded projects. You will work with the Head of Base and Technical Coordinators to ensure quality, timely outputs and compliance with donor guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating field activities, managing staff resources, supporting reports, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University graduate.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Project Cycle Management.
• Strong budgeting skills.
• Experience in assessment/monitoring/evaluation during emergencies.
• Experience in implementing multi-sectorial projects.
• Knowledge of DRR/CCA planning and Rapid Response/Anticipatory Action.
• Knowledge of food security and livelihoods.
• Desirable: partnerships development and alliances.
• Risk mitigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, management and implementation of the project activities.
• Lead resource provision and capacity building of program staff.
• Ensure activities align with donor guidelines and AAH standards.
• Support proposal and report writing for Head of Base as needed.
• Coordinate cross-cutting issues with Head of Project and Technical Leads.
• Develop monitoring and evaluation plans and ensure accountability.
• Produce timely APRs, interim and final reports.
• Ensure safety and security of project staff in coordination with Head of Project.
