We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist who is confident planning, executing, and optimising paid media across digital platforms, and who understands how amplification supports strong creative and social-first ideas.
This role covers paid social, PPC, SEM, and media planning, with responsibilities spanning setup, optimisation, reporting, and performance analysis. You’ll work closely with Content, Strategy, Accounts, and Creative teams to ensure media plans are smart, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
You’ll also be part of how our Growth team experiments. We run regular small tests with new AI tools, ad formats, and channels, and keep what works. If you’re the kind of person who’s already trying AI tools to work faster or think sharper, we want to hear about it.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube
Execute paid social, PPC, and SEM campaigns to support brand, performance, and amplification objectives
Develop media plans, projections, and budget allocations based on campaign goals
Set up, monitor, and optimise campaigns to maximise efficiency and performance
Gather rate cards and media information from publishers, platforms, and partners where required
Track spend closely and ensure budgets are paced accurately
Benchmark performance against historical data, industry standards, and campaign objectives, and contribute findings to our social and media insights
Analyse results and translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations
Prepare performance reports for internal teams and clients, and help automate the repetitive parts of reporting
Run and document small experiments with new AI tools, platform AI features (e.g. Advantage+, Performance Max), and emerging channels such as AI search and chat ads, each with a clear hypothesis and a keep-or-drop call
Share what you learn with the wider team so useful tools and workflows become standard practice
Stay up to date on platform updates, ad formats, and media best practices
Collaborate with Creative and Content teams to ensure assets are optimised for paid performance, including testing AI-assisted creative variations
Nice to have
- Hands-on use of AI tools in your workflow, e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for analysis and copy, or automation tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make
Comfort with spreadsheets, formulas, or light scripting to clean and analyse data
Familiarity with GA4, GTM, and pixel/conversion tracking
Qualifications & Expectations
- Go-getter mindset: Proactive, takes ownership, and moves fast to solve problems and spot optimisation opportunities.
- Bonus: working knowledge of SEO fundamentals (keyword research + on-page basics) to support stronger landing page performance and integrated search strategy.
- 2–5 years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital media roles
- Hands-on experience managing:
- Paid social (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
- PPC and SEM (Google Ads)
- Solid understanding of:
- Campaign setup and optimisation
- Budget pacing and projections
