Job summary

VA Masters is seeking an experienced Google Ads PPC Specialist to own paid search for our Shopify store. The initial focus is auditing, restructuring, and scaling D2C campaigns to lift conversions and revenue. After achieving targets, the role expands to building and scaling our B2B and OEM lead generation efforts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years actively managing Google Ads for Shopify e-commerce stores.
• Proven track record of directly increasing D2C conversion rates and revenue efficiency.
• Strong understanding of D2C e-commerce funnels and buyer behavior.
• Experience with B2B demand generation and lead generation funnels.
• Technical fluency with GA4, UTM parameters, tags, Enhanced Conversions, and remarketing.
• Hands-on experience with keyword gap analysis using SEMrush, SimilarWeb, or Google Keyword Planner.

Responsibilities

• Audit, restructure, and scale existing Google Ads campaigns (Performance Max, Shopping, Search) to drive revenue and CRO.
• Optimize the Google Shopping feed: titles, attributes, categories, and labels.
• Implement negative keywords and placement exclusions to reduce wasted spend.
• Audit/consolidate GA4 and Enhanced Conversions for accurate attribution.
• Launch targeted B2B and OEM campaigns to generate leads, form fills, RFQs.
• Create campaigns/audiences separating consumer vs. business buyers.
• Improve B2B lead funnels to lower CAC and raise lead quality.
• Ongoing keyword/TERMS/auction insight optimizations and creative updates.
• Produce performance reports with learnings and scaling recommendations.
• Communicate performance shifts and growth opportunities to stakeholders.

The immediate focus is auditing, restructuring, and scaling our direct‑to‑consumer campaigns to lift conversion rates and grow revenue. Once D2C performance targets are reached, the role expands into building and scaling our B2B and industrial OEM lead generation campaigns. We are looking for someone analytical and proactive who is comfortable owning both strategy and hands‑on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit, restructure, and scale existing Performance Max, Google Shopping, and Search campaigns to drive revenue and conversion rate growth
• Optimize the Google Shopping product feed, including titles, attributes, categories, and custom labels, to capture high‑intent traffic
• Implement negative keyword strategies and placement exclusions to eliminate wasted ad spend
• Audit and improve conversion tracking across GA4 and Enhanced Conversions to guarantee accurate purchase attribution
• Build and launch targeted B2B and OEM campaigns to generate qualified leads, form fills, and RFQs
• Create strict campaign and audience segmentation between consumer search traffic and business buyers
• Optimize B2B lead funnels to lower cost per acquisition and improve lead quality
• Perform ongoing keyword, search term, auction insight, and Performance Max creative asset optimizations
• Produce performance reports covering key metrics, learnings, and strategic recommendations for budget scaling
• Communicate proactively about performance shifts, strategy adjustments, and growth opportunities

Mandatory Skills

• 4+ years actively managing Google Ads for Shopify e‑commerce stores, including Performance Max, Google Shopping, and Search
• Proven track record of directly increasing D2C conversion rates and revenue efficiency
• Strong understanding of D2C e‑commerce funnels and buyer behavior
• Experience with B2B demand generation and lead generation funnels
• Technical fluency with GA4, UTM parameters, tags, Enhanced Conversions, and remarketing
• Hands‑on experience with SEMrush, SimilarWeb, or Google Keyword Planner for keyword gap analysis
• Strong data analytics skills with the ability to turn campaign data into clear decisions
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

• Experience marketing arts, crafts, or DIY consumer products
• Background in or knowledge of OEM and industrial markets
• Experience with B2B lifecycle marketing
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization and landing page testing
• Ability to manage multiple campaign priorities simultaneously
