Job summary

JTI in Batangas is seeking a Production Operator in the Make Pack department to operate tobacco processing and packing machines, ensuring quality and alignment with QA specs. You will work on rotating shifts and follow safety rules while maintaining 5S standards.

Responsibilities include promoting Kaizen, adhering to EHS procedures, and supporting continuous improvement, with emphasis on teamwork and timely reporting of issues.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational graduate preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic English reading/writing and math skills.
• Good communication, multitasking, and basic tech/computer skills.
• Willing to work on rotating or shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate tobacco processing and cigarette making/packing machines to produce quality products per QA specs.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures and controls.
• Keep workspace clean and organized following 5S standards and support environmental protection.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement, and communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Comply with EHS procedures, labor laws, company policies, and work instructions.
• Demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
