Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing production environment
• Strong understanding of machinery operation, maintenance and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, work instructions and quality specifications
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining consistent quality standards
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in a production environment for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing production requirements
• Basic mathematical skills for recording and monitoring production data
• Preferred: Relevant certifications in machinery operation or industrial safety
• Preferred: Experience with similar production systems or equipment used in the industry

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Performing routine maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting on assigned equipment
• Inspecting products for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications
• Recording production data and maintaining accurate logs of output, downtime and material usage
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Reporting equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors immediately
• Assisting with material handling, packaging and warehouse organisation as required
• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility
