Job summary

Detpak Packaging Philippines, Inc. in Taguig is seeking a Production Operator to manage the machine run and ensure quality outcomes across shifts.

The role requires hands-on operation of printing and packaging equipment, adherence to QSE standards, and collaboration with maintenance and quality teams to meet production targets. Responsibilities include set-up, change of reels, inline quality checks, preventative maintenance tasks, PPE compliance, and timely material requests to RM handler.

Responsibilities

• End to end ownership of the machines and machine production process in line with QSE standards
• Ensures specification speeds are met to achieve production targets
• Ensures all quality and safety systems and procedures are maintained and adhered to
• Does basic troubleshooting - identifies operational issues and root cause then makes machine adjustments to correct the problem; coordinates with Maintenance
• Maintains compliance with the Preventative Maintenance program
• Manages the use of raw materials and consumables used by the machine
• Assists in the training of other team members in machine operation and related processes
• Operates various equipment when required
• Provides assistance in the resolution of quality complaints
• Communicates with team mates to ensure smooth daily operations
• Performs other duties assigned by management
