JT International (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a Packer Operator to operate and monitor production and packaging machinery, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
The role covers machine setup, material handling, routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and waste. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering related fields; fresh graduates are welcome and at least 1 year of relevant experience is advantageous.
The Packer Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production and packaging machinery while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The role includes machine setup, material handling, routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and production waste.
Performing basic machine operation, enabling timely production of product as well as the packaging of products according to JTI quality standards requirements at the lowest possible cost
Using the right materials as per the product specifications and checking the materials at the beginning of each shift and for brand change purposes, as well as changing of product at the machine/line
Filling of the machine with materials
Correct reporting of wastes, machine downtimes, breakdowns and material usage if applicable
Learn performing Clean-Inspect-Lubricate activities on machine in line with defined standard
Checking centerlines in first hour of shift, reporting any out of limits, identifying out of limit root causes and acting on restoring centerlines back to the limit
Learning PM and AM standards and executing under supervision
Learning to use analytical tools to identify root causes and executing under supervision
Compliance with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions
Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline or Engineering Technology-related course

At least 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations is an advantage
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in basic mathematical computations, computer applications, and data analysis
Ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret operational data, and support effective decision-making
Good written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to prepare basic operational reports
Amenable to work onsite and on shifting schedule.
