Job summary

Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking an Operations professional to lead P&L reconciliation and analysis across global portfolios. You will partner with Middle Office, Back Office, and Valuations to investigate breaks, generate daily variance reports, and inform investment decisions.

The role emphasizes accurate, timely P&L outcomes, high attention to detail, and a drive for process automation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Background in finance/economics/math or related
3+ years in product control or operations at hedge fund or bank
Knowledge of equities and derivatives
Experience with BI tools or automation (Alteryx, Python, AI)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

Perform regular P&L reconciliations between front-office and back-office systems.
Partner with Middle Office, Back Office, and Valuations to resolve P&L breaks across asset classes.
Produce daily P&L variance reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Finalize PM P&L in front-office systems based on variance checks and analyses.
Respond to P&L inquiries from PMs, traders, and investment services colleagues.
Drive process improvements and automation in P&L reconciliation analysis.
