Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience operating a telephone switchboard or in a customer service role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally manage high call volumes.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple calls and prioritize.
• Must read, speak, and understand English for contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and direct calls efficiently.
• Ensure inquiries are resolved or routed to the correct department.
• Maintain understanding of operational processes to provide accurate information to callers.
• Log and track calls and provide status updates.
• Assist in emergency communications and prioritize urgent calls according to escalation protocols.
• Update and maintain the directory database for accurate routing.
• Handle sensitive information securely and professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to callers.
