Job summary

SMDC is seeking a Software Developer to design, code, test, and deploy applications aligned with business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly software while adhering to standards and best practices.

The role requires hands-on experience in web and/or mobile development, a strong grasp of coding standards, and a proactive approach to debugging and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of programming experience.
• Experience in web and/or mobile app development; knowledge of development methodologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy applications based on requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, test, and deploy applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established standards.
• Assist in analyzing user needs and translating them into technical solutions
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.
• Ensure applications are developed with high standards of performance, security, and usability through unit testing and code reviews.
• Work closely with the business stakeholder, digital innovation lead, project managers, ui/ux designer, and senior developers to understand requirements and delivery solutions.
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, data flows, and code changes
• Immediately trouble shoot and resolve application prod issues to support smooth business operations
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and organization policies

Experience
