Job summary

Aprio is seeking an Accounting Associate for its Outsourcing team in Makati. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, bank and bill processing, AR tasks, and closing activities for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online and related tools.

The role starts onsite for two months and then transitions to a hybrid setup in Makati or Clark. Required are a bachelor’s in accounting and 1+ year experience in accounting or outsourced services, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or outsourced accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online required; familiarity with Xero and/or NetSuite is a plus.
• Experience supporting multiple clients or working in an outsourced/accounting services environment preferred.
• Clear and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for assigned clients.
• Update bank accounts via online feeds; import transactions.
• Code bank and credit card transactions.
• Coordinate with senior accountant for open items to PM.
• Process bills/receipts using third-party apps (Bill.com, QBO, ReceiptBank, Dext).
• Schedule and code bills; route for review.
• Enter customer deposits and AR-related tasks as assigned.
• Match transactions for payroll or enter JE as needed.
• During closing, maintain reconciliation pages and update working papers.
• Prepare flux/variance analysis reports; perform self-review of work.
