Job summary

Caylabne Bay Resort & Marina is seeking an Outlet Cashier to manage cashiering duties at the designated outlet. You will handle guest payments, issue receipts, and ensure cash is properly counted and accounted for at the end of shifts.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, ensuring equipment readiness, and supporting the general cashier with daily sales reporting and remittances as required by management.

Qualifications

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible in performing cashiering functions at the designated outlet and ensures that the company’s cash (fund and collections) is kept intact, monitored and properly accounted for, receiving handling and storing cash sales and other cash equivalent of the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as Outlet Cashier at CBRM and custodian for Change Fund amounting to Two Thousand Pesos (Php 2,000.00)
• Ensures sufficient stocks of accountable forms of the outlet cashiering section, including but not limited to POS device, credit card terminal and accessories.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of working area and safe keeping of all cashiering equipment in the designated outlet.
• Accepts order slip from wait staff and responsible for POS entry, bill printing, guest payments and prepares official receipts and or acknowledgement receipts.
• Ensures that all individual charges are properly posted, and submit to general cashier for guest/unit owner, Employees ledger billing and payments.
• Prepares Outlet Daily Sales Transaction Report in support for POS and corresponding cash count slip for general cashier and for Cost controller for costing purposes.
• Performs cash count daily, once in the morning and once at the end of office hour (during cash remittances to general cashier) of daily Cash sales and change fund.
• Prepares daily sales summary, daily remittances record book and corresponding cash count slip for proper monitoring and general cashier acceptance of all cash and checks remittances.
• Monitor Action Memo of all incoming guest, coordinates guest balances from Sales and Marketing.
• Responsible for Walk in guest table reservation signage after the advice from General Cashier.
• Responsible for cash safekeeping in the absent of general cashier.
• Performs as Petty Cash Fund Custodian in the absent of general cashier.
• Performs training and endorsement to anyone who temporarily acts as Outlet Cashier during leaves and absences.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
