Job summary

Vena Group is seeking an experienced OT/SCADA Engineering Leader to drive assessment, standardization, and modernization across solar, wind, and BESS sites. You will evaluate SCADA, networks, and telecom/ISP setups, identify gaps, and deliver remediation aligned with ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST guidelines.

You will lead multi-site standardization, manage vendors, and travel frequently for assessments and stakeholder engagement, reporting to the GM, Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in OT/SCADA/network engineering and operations.
• 3–5+ years in a leadership/manager role.
• Direct renewables (solar, wind) and/or BESS experience.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.
• Project/program management, budgeting, and scheduling proficiency.
• Travel readiness for frequent on-site assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT assessments across solar, wind, and BESS sites (SCADA, network, telecom).
• Benchmark and uplift cybersecurity controls to OT standards (62443, NIST).
• Define standard OT reference architectures and change control.
• Oversee SCADA reliability, data integrity, and interfaces to ERP/IT.
• Drive remediation and upgrade projects including hardware refresh.
• Develop OT monitoring, incident response, and playbooks.
• Manage ISPs, telecoms, and OT vendors/integrators/OEMs.
• Govern OT baselines, backups, versioning, and rollbacks.
• Deliver OT cybersecurity and operations training for staff.
• Maintain OT risk register and KPIs; report to GM Infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Corporate IT/Security for secure IT/OT integration.
• Ensure HSE/regulatory compliance; coordinate with grid operators.
• Plan site travel and build relationships with O&M teams.
