Job summary

Aeven is seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to maintain Oracle and MS SQL environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. The role focuses on performance tuning, high availability, and incident management within a hybrid work setup in the Philippines.

Candidates should have 5+ years of hands-on DB experience, be familiar with Oracle RAC/AlwaysOn, and comfortable with ITIL-aligned processes. In-office presence is required 1 day per week, with flexible hours and a candidate-oriented

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience.
• Oracle e-Business Suite and Oracle databases (19c/23ai).
• MS SQL Server 2019/2022 management.
• Oracle RAC and SQL Server AlwaysOn for high availability.
• Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Oracle OEM, Spotlight, and AppDynamics.
• Cloud migrations to AWS and Azure.
• Automation with Unix shell scripting, Windows PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Incident management in agile environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL and analytics/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and performance of databases.
• Plan and execute migrations to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Respond to incidents and outages in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
