Job summary

Lancesoft Philippines seeks a CASA/Common Services SME to support a core banking transformation in the Philippines, built on Oracle FLEXCUBE. The SME will own CASA and Common Services streams, driving requirement analysis and To-Be design.

You will work multivendor with data mapping, interface design, and vendor collaboration; hands-on, end-to-end delivery across build, test, and cutover, ensuring successful go-live.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle FLEXCUBE implementation experience covering CASA and Common Services.
• Strong knowledge of CASA account lifecycle and Common Services configuration.
• 10+ years of IT experience with core banking transformation/implementation programs.
• Proven ability to independently drive solutioning, documentation, and approvals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders and vendors.
• Experience with data mapping and interface design for CASA/Common Services integration.
• Reporting exposure with Tableau or Business Objects.
• Must be in the Philippines for the entire duration of the project.

Responsibilities

• Analyze CASA workflow requirements (account opening/maintenance, transaction processing) and Common Services configuration on Oracle FLEXCUBE.
• Support data mapping and integration design for CASA and Common Services with payments, GL, and reporting systems.
• Support configuration and design discussions for related modules (e.g., OBPY) where in scope for the project.
• Support interface and design discussions for ISO 20022 mappings where applicable to CASA/payments integration.
• Act as SME for the product/module during requirement analysis, solution design, build, testing, and cutover.
• Engage with product vendors to clarify capability, configuration options, gaps, and constraints.
• Lead or contribute to workshops with business stakeholders, interface teams, Solution Architecture, and platform vendors.
• Prepare and own Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) and other design artifacts, driving review sign-off.
• Support solution design for integrating the platform with upstream/downstream applications via MQ, REST/SOAP, and files.
• Support SIT/UAT test planning, triage defects, and drive resolution with vendors/delivery teams.
• Support data mapping, migration validation, and reconciliation activities relevant to the module.
• Support cutover planning and hypercare activities through go-live.
• Manage stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor teams, escalating risks/issues proactively.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a CASA/Common Services SME to support a core banking transformation program for a client based in the Philippines, built on Oracle FLEXCUBE. The SME will own the CASA (Current Account/Savings Account) and Common Services product streams, driving requirement analysis and To-Be solution design.

This is a core banking implementation role. The candidate must have hands-on, end-to-end experience delivering core banking transformation programs (not advisory-only exposure), and must be comfortable working directly with product vendors to challenge, validate, and finalize the To-Be system design.

Key Responsibilities

MULTIVENDOR, MULTI-COUNTRY TEAM

• Analyze CASA workflow requirements (account opening/maintenance, transaction processing) and Common Services configuration on Oracle FLEXCUBE.


• Support data mapping and integration design for CASA and Common Services with payments, GL, and reporting systems.


• Support configuration and design discussions for related modules (e.g., OBPY) where in scope for the project.


• Support message transformation design for standards such as ISO 20022 where applicable to CASA/payments integration.


• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the product/module during requirement analysis, solution design, build, testing, and cutover phases of the core banking implementation.


• Engage directly with product vendors to clarify product capability, configuration options, gaps, and constraints, and drive decisions on the To-Be system design.


• Lead and/or contribute to workshops with business stakeholders, interface teams, the Solution Architecture team, and platform vendors to gather and validate requirements.


• Prepare and own Interface Specification Documents (ISDs)/functional and technical design documents, and drive review sign-off with upstream and downstream teams.


• Support solution design for integrating the platform with upstream and downstream applications via MQ, REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based interfaces.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Hands-on Oracle FLEXCUBE implementation experience covering CASA and Common Services modules, within a core banking transformation program.


• Strong functional knowledge of CASA account lifecycle and Common Services configuration.


• Experience with data mapping and interface design for CASA/Common Services integration.


• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial hands-on experience in core banking transformation/implementation programs.


• Proven experience working as an individual contributor who can independently drive solutioning, documentation, and approvals, this is a hands-on role, not a purely supervisory one.


• Strong stakeholder management skills; able to work with business teams, interface/platform teams, and Solution Architecture teams.


• Experience preparing and obtaining sign-off on Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) and integration design artifacts.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting solution options to senior stakeholders and vendors.


• Reporting exposure with tools such as Tableau or Business Objects.


• Should be in the Philippines for entire duration of the project.
