Job summary

VIP Optical Clinic in Rizal is looking for a licensed Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide expert patient care. Responsibilities include diagnosing visual conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and ensuring patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills and a Doctor of Optometry degree. Benefits include profit sharing and flexible working hours. This is an on-site position with a 5-10 years preferred experience but all applications are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Doctor of Optometry degree required.

Job Description

1. Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform refraction and vision testing
• Diagnose visual and eye conditions
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Provide patient education on proper eye care
• Detect and refer serious eye conditions when necessary
• Ensure excellent customer service and patient satisfaction
• Explain diagnosis and treatment clearly to patients
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
• Assist patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses
• Recommend lens options based on patient needs
• Support store sales targets while maintaining ethical standards

4. Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure PRC license is valid and displayed
• Follow clinic policies and procedures
• Maintain proper documentation of all consultations
• Work closely with opticians and sales staff
• Coordinate with branch personnel for smooth operations
• Support relievers and other doctors when needed
