Care Center Clinic in Metro Manila seeks a licensed optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose common ocular conditions, prescribe eyewear, and guide patients on vision health. The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) with active licensure and has clinical experience in eye care.

Excellent communication and patient-centered care are essential to deliver high-quality services in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure/registration to practice optometry is required.
• Clinical experience in eye clinics, optical chains, or multidisciplinary health centers is preferred.
• Technical skills with ophthalmic instruments and patient records software.
• Strong communication and attention to detail, especially with pediatric/elderly patients.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations using phoropters, slit lamps, and tonometers.
• Identify and manage myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, and ocular diseases.
• Write prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses and assist with fitting.
• Screen for systemic conditions and counsel on lifestyle and ergonomics.
• Provide low-vision rehabilitation and pre/post-operative care as needed.
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists when appropriate.
