Job summary

Coherent Corp. in the Philippines seeks a Quality Engineer to support new parts introduction and ongoing quality at the Rosario site. You will own QC planning, metrology, and cross-functional problem solving with production and process engineering.

You will drive data-driven improvements, maintain process documents, and lead corrective action plans while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001. This role is 100% onsite and requires collaboration with suppliers and customers to meet quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, chemistry, material science or mechanical/electrical engineering.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in product/process quality engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and quality tools; statistical methods.
• Ability to lead root cause analysis and implement CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Understand product specs during NPI and change reviews; ensure specification awareness at site.
• Define quality control plans and measurement metrology; plan equipment and procedures.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving with process engineering and production.
• Summarize and analyze quality status for continuous improvement; monitor performance.
• Verify corrective/preventive actions to resolve quality issues; ensure effectiveness.
• Review spec and metrology applicability for new products and provide engineering input.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and track impact on quality metrics.
• This role is 100% onsite.
