Asian Eye Institute, Inc. is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant to support ophthalmic care under the supervision of an Ophthalmic Nurse.

This role ensures a smooth clinic experience by delivering patient care, preparing patients, instilling eye drops, and assisting physicians during exams. Responsibilities include room preparation, vital signs, medication administration, proper documentation, infection control, and coordinating with the lab and benefits team.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a technical-vocational course in allied health services or a related medical field.
• Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or eye clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients in the diagnostic room and instill eye drops.
• Measure vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Assist with medications and ensure safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control and sanitation of equipment.
• Coordinate with laboratory and logistics for specimen submission.
• Prepare examination rooms at start/end of clinic day.
• Document patient information and endorsements for PDAS.
