Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up welders, machines, and troubleshoot minor setup issues.
• Perform 6S activities before and after shifts.
• Conduct process monitoring (visuals, SPC, sampling tests) per procedures.
• Maintain computer records of station details and quantities.
• Classify lots and reject parts correctly per specs.
• Make decisions based on specifications and criteria.
• Assist with other tasks as needed and follow SOPs.
• Highlight any issues affecting safety, quality, or output during shift.

Job Description:

• Setup of welders, machine and trouble shoot minor setup problems.
• 6S activities pre- and post-shift either manual or semi-automatic.
• Can perform process monitors (visuals, SPC, sampling test) as per spec procedures task and/or responsibility.
• Computer transaction regarding the details of his/her compelled station.
• Accounting of lot quantities and proper categorization of rejected parts.
• Be able to decide based on existing specifications and /or criteria.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
• Follows and complies with all normal duties and responsibilities, system procedure, flow and standard of operation.
• Initiates highlighting of any issues that could affect the safety, quality and/or output during his/her shift.
