Job summary

Brenton International Venture Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Plant Operations Head in overseeing daily plant activities. You will supervise manpower scheduling, monitor machine efficiency, and manage cylinder maintenance to ensure smooth production flows.

The role requires an engineering background, strong leadership, and at least 1 year in a supervisory position. Willingness to be stationed in Murcia, Negros Occidental is required.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering degree (Mechanical/Industrial); PRC license is an advantage but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities and leadership qualities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum 1 year in an Operations Supervisor or related role; willing to be assigned in Murcia, Negros Occidental.

Responsibilities

• Supervise scheduling of manpower for daily operations.
• Ensure machine efficiency and productivity of all plant equipment.
• Plan and check inventory/storage levels for volume withdrawals and deliveries.
• Oversee cylinder maintenance activities: washing, painting, repainting, and retouching.
• Manage cylinder inventory with the Cylinder Controller and Brent Gas/Superkalan Gaz stores stocks.
• Monitor daily tasks of subordinates and provide guidance and support.

Operations Supervisor is tasked to provide assistance for the Plant Operations Head in overseeing the plant operations. They are trusted to facilitate the daily activities of various sections of the plant operations and ensure efficiency of the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any engineering course (Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum etc.)
• PRC is an advantage but not required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good strategic and analytical skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong leadership skills
• At least one (1) year of experience as an Operations Supervisor or in a related role
• Willing to be assigned in Murcia, Negros Occidental

Duties & Responsibilities

PLANT OPERATIONS

• Supervise and facilitate scheduling of manpower requirements in relation to the daily operations.
• Ensure and report machine efficiency and productivity of all plant equipment and machineries.
• Check and planning of inventory/ storage level stocks in relation to volume withdrawals, schedule of bulk deliveries, floor stocks, stock transfer and sales.

CYLINDER MAINTENANCE

• Supervise washing, painting, repainting, and retouching works of different classification of cylinders.
• Inventory paint requirements in cylinder maintenance of Towngaz, Superkalan Gaz, Brent Gas cylinders.
• Schedule manpower requirements in relation with the total number of cylinders to undergo maintenance.
• Ensure safety system of works in the flow of production in the cylinder maintenance.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

• Management of the inventory of cylinders in coordination with the Cylinder Controller.
• Management of supplies of other merchandise in coordination with the Operations Assistant for Brent Gas/Superkalan Gaz stores stocks.
• Request of materials and supplies needed for daily operations and transactions.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Monitor the daily tasks and objectives of the subordinates.
• Provide crucial guidance and support to the subordinates.
