The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational aspects of the manpower services business. This includes workforce deployment, client relationship management, compliance with labor regulations, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of operational processes to ensure service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations related to sourcing, onboarding, and deployment of manpower.
- Ensure timely mobilization of workers according to client contracts and project requirements.
- Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve operational issues.
- Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to assess performance and address concerns.
Workforce Management
- Supervise field and office staff including recruitment officers, supervisors, and coordinators.
- Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and HR practices for all deployed workers.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and disciplinary issues, taking corrective actions as needed.
Process Improvement
- Evaluate and refine internal processes to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for various operational functions.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all operations comply with local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, deployment metrics, client satisfaction, and incident tracking.
Budgeting and Cost Control
- Assist in budgeting for operational activities and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor expenses related to manpower deployment and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a staffing or manpower service company.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and workforce management software.
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
