Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
• Proven track record of leading operations teams and improving efficiency.
• Knowledge of lean management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across manufacturing, transport, and logistics divisions.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and safety.

About the role

PTC Commercial Corporation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Mandaue City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of our manufacturing, transport, and logistics operations. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across all operational functions. This role is essential to our continued growth and success, requiring a strategic thinker who can drive operational excellence whilst managing teams and resources effectively.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage daily operational activities across manufacturing, transport, and logistics divisions to ensure smooth and efficient operations
2. Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to improve productivity, quality, and safety standards
3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement
4. Manage budgets, resources, and inventory to optimise costs whilst maintaining service quality
5. Lead, supervise, and mentor operations teams, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management
6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies
7. Coordinate with other departments including finance, human resources, and supply chain to ensure seamless integration of operations
8. Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure service delivery and satisfaction
9. Investigate and resolve operational issues, bottlenecks, and challenges in a timely manner
10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of operational activities and prepare regular reports for senior management

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors
3. Proven track record of successfully managing operations teams and improving operational efficiency
4. Strong knowledge of operational best practices, lean management principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
5. Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
6. Proficiency with operations management software and MS Office applications
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams
8. Problem-solving mindset with excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
10. Flexibility to work extended hours when operational needs require
11. Preferred: Experience in the Philippines logistics or manufacturing sector and familiarity with local regulatory requirements
