Job summary

Sutherland is seeking an Operations Manager in the Philippines to oversee banking/financial services operations. You will drive performance, supervise a large team, and partner on continuous improvement initiatives to meet objectives.

Responsibilities include coaching, team strategy, client advocacy, and data-driven improvements. Strong leadership and communication are essential to align operations with client needs and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of operations and management experience.
• 4–5 years in banking/financial services or fintech.
• Experience with omnichannel lines of business (LOBs).
• Ability to manage 100–150 staff across a Manager level hierarchy.
• Strong data interpretation, trend identification, and improvement recommendations.
• Proven leadership and the ability to drive improvements and resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage cluster/community performance; conduct weekly coaching sessions and call audits.
• Lead weekly huddles and develop team strategy to meet operational goals.
• Partner with Operations Manager on continuous improvement, training and action plans.
• Advocate for clients by delivering weekly commitments and analyzing attendance and process data.
• Provide ideas to improve product, business processes and policies.
• Set up accountability discussions on attendance and performance; identify training needs.
