Job summary

Optimus Executive Search Solutions is seeking a Project Accountant for real estate development projects in Mandaluyong. The role oversees the full accounting cycle, budgets, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure project profitability and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in project accounting within real estate development, CPA preferred, and strong Excel and accounting-system proficiency. Onsite work with multi-project coordination is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred or equivalent certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in project accounting within real estate development.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Experience with construction costs, progress billings, and project financial controls.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for assigned real estate development projects.
• Monitor budgets, costs, expenditures, and cash flow to meet financial targets.
• Prepare and analyze project financial reports, budget variances, and cost performance analyses.
• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders on financial matters.
• Review and validate billings, progress billings, contractor payments, and supplier invoices.
• Ensure accurate cost recording, accruals, and entries per policies and standards.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for projects.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities for project accounting.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards.
• Provide financial insights to support profitability and decision-making.
