Job summary

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is seeking a dedicated professional to join our site services. You will report to the Site Services Supervisor and work with a large network of experts to support customized lab work and research protocols.

This role offers hourly pay of $27 to $28.50, with Monday–Friday schedule and cross-training across nearby sites. You will participate in inventory management, safety audits, and hands-on lab support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel to customer sites for cross training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly lab safety audits and document findings.
• Manage consumable stocking locations for consistency.
• Oversee daily inventory of lab consumables.
• Use barcode systems to track product orders.
• Receive and organize incoming supplies.
• Place procurement orders via Avantor platforms.
• Monitor inventory metrics like turns and costs.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly records in logs.
• Execute client SOPs for cleaning protocols.
• Ensure critical parts are available to prevent downtime.
