Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is looking for an experienced EDI Lead to oversee the quality, processing, and troubleshooting of inbound and outbound EDI files. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in EDI formats, file mapping, quality assurance, and US healthcare EDI standards.

The role requires collaboration with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate file transmissions, with a focus on QA, analytics, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• 5+ years of EDI experience, including EDI file mapping.
• 1-2 years of SQL experience.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA EDI protocols.
• Experience supporting international customers.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with US healthcare or health insurance EDI standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor EDI file processing, troubleshoot transaction issues, and maintain quality standards.
• Manage and update data required for file transmissions.
• Coordinate with vendors and carriers on new and revised EDI file requirements, from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, reports, metrics, and knowledge base materials.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support escalated technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve file transaction discrepancies.
