Job summary

OpsWerks is seeking a DevOps Engineer focused on Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native technologies. You will manage production Kubernetes environments, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability across critical systems.

The role offers hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure and opportunities to advance in DevOps, SRE, and cloud engineering. Onsite work in Manila or Cebu City is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with Amazon EKS.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience deploying applications using Helm.
• Experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to participate in an on-call support rotation.

Responsibilities

• Manage production Kubernetes clusters (On-Prem & Amazon EKS).
• Deploy and maintain applications using Helm.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, networking, storage, and scaling issues.
• Implement Kubernetes security best practices, including RBAC and namespace isolation.
• Optimize cluster performance and autoscaling.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
