Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Ortigas Pasig is seeking a data visualization/BI developer to design and maintain dashboards, data pipelines and analytics solutions for business insights.

You will work with Power BI, SQL (Oracle), ETL/ELT tooling (Talend, Spark, Airflow), APIs and multi-source data integration, and apply data quality and governance practices to production environments.

Strong collaboration with data engineering and business teams, plus hands-on scripting in Python or Shell.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Visualization, Data Engineering, or BI development roles.
• Hands-on experience in Power BI development (dashboards, reports, DAX, Power Query).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle or similar relational databases.
• Experience in building and supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines using Talend, Spark, or Airflow.
• Familiarity with data integration from APIs, databases, flat files.
• Basic understanding of Cloudera ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HDFS, Impala) or similar big data platforms.
• Experience in data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, basic dimensional modeling).
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and report optimization technique.
• Exposure to production support and incident troubleshooting in data environments.
• Understanding of data quality, data governance, and basic security concepts (e.g., row-level security in Power BI).
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting.
