Responsibilities

ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE is seeking a dedicated On-Call Messenger to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our courier and postal services operations. As an On-Call Messenger, you will be the backbone of our delivery network, ensuring that documents, parcels, and packages reach their destinations safely and on time. Your reliability and efficiency will directly impact our clients' satisfaction and our company's reputation in the competitive logistics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and deliver documents, parcels, and packages to designated locations within Makati City and surrounding areas in Metro Manila

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including recipient signatures, delivery times, and any special handling requirements

• Respond promptly to on-call requests and prioritise deliveries according to urgency and client requirements

• Handle packages with care, ensuring items remain in pristine condition throughout the delivery process

• Navigate efficiently through Metro Manila's traffic and terrain using provided transportation or personal vehicle as required

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

• Comply with all safety protocols and traffic regulations while performing delivery duties

• Report any damaged, lost, or undelivered items to management immediately

• Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times whilst representing the company

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a messenger, courier, or in a similar delivery role within the logistics or postal services industry

• Strong knowledge of Makati City and Metro Manila's geography, roads, and transportation networks

• Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple deliveries efficiently

• Physical fitness and ability to carry parcels and walk long distances throughout the day

• Valid driver's licence (if using personal vehicle or company vehicle)

• Clean driving record and adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues

• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call requests

• Basic computer literacy to track deliveries and update delivery systems

• Customer service orientation with a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines and exceeding client expectations
