Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Rigging Support Stage Staff to work onboard. The role supports Entertainment Technical Operations, focusing on aerial program rigging and backstage operations across venues aboard the ship, in collaboration with Entertainment Rigging Specialists and the broader technical team.

The ideal candidate has prior rigging experience, strong teamwork skills, and a solid safety mindset, with the ability to adapt to live show environments and varying schedules.

Qualifications

• Aerial rigging knowledge or prior experience with theater/entertainment rigging or performer flying systems.
• Familiar with theatre operations etiquette and safety.
• Experience with carpentry, painting, and hand tools for theatrical repairs.
• Experience with setting up and maintaining backline equipment, cabling, soldering, or repairing lighting fixtures.
• Experience with video setup/troubleshooting between Windows or Mac and external devices (projectors/TVs).

Responsibilities

• Supports safe execution of onboard shows and aerial performances following procedures.
• Prepares venues, inspects flying equipment, assists performers, and handles show/backstage duties.
• Performs post-show equipment inspections, storage, reporting issues, venue cleanup, and documentation updates.
• Assists shipwide entertainment activities, props, set pieces, and repair of entertainment equipment.
• Participates in trainings, meetings, and rehearsals; supports event setups and other duties as assigned.
