Job summary

Qualfon in Cebu City on-site is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple large-scale IT projects from inception through handoff to support. This role requires collaboration with operational and technical leadership, business and IT stakeholders, and engineers to ensure timely delivery.

You will own scoping, planning, milestones, risk management, and customer communications, and participate in sprint planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience managing technology and/or software projects.
• 3+ years of experience managing technology and process implementation projects.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure projects such as telecom deployments and IT network setup for new buildings or new lines of business.
• Experience with enterprise-level software deployment projects.
• Strong analytical and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• PMP, CSM, CSPO, or other project certifications preferred.
• Excellent attitude and ability to work with all levels of business and IT management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic project implementations from contract initiation through build completion.
• Engage all necessary functional areas of the business by gathering required data.
• Communicate with customers to define and deliver technical specifications for projects.
• Take overall project ownership, including scoping, creating project plans, establishing milestones, and managing engineering resources.
• Manage daily project tasks, including communications, risk management, testing scripts, issue logs, and act as a liaison between engineering resources and customer expectations.
• Participate in sprint planning meetings with technical engineers and developers.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction while pushing projects to completion.
• Assist peers with high-risk projects mid-stream to resolve complex customer situations and drive projects to successful completion.
• Manage and update project details using various PM tools.
• Serve as a liaison between internal and external technical and non-technical teams.
• Keep internal stakeholders and executive leadership informed of project status updates and key issues.
