The incumbent will assist engineers and engine personnel in repairs, maintain fuel and lube oil levels, and uphold engine room cleanliness, contributing to smooth vessel operations during port calls and underway.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper lubrication of all machineries while underway and in port.
• Constantly monitors gauges of machineries being operated.
• Assists engineers and engine personnel in repairs and maintenance of machineries and accessories.
• Maintains proper fuel oil and lube oil levels in respective tanks.
• Maintains cleanliness of the engine room.
• Assists during activities involving engine personnel.
