Scorpio seeks an Oiler / Motorman for contract work with 88 Aces Maritime Services Inc., Manila. Role covers operation, maintenance and upkeep of ship engines and spaces, supporting engine room watches at sea and in port.

Essential tasks include lubrication, housekeeping, equipment repair assistance, and adherence to SOLAS/MARPOL safety standards. Benefits and rotation are provided aboard, with a focus on reliable service and crew welfare.

Qualifications

• Familiar with SOLAS, MARPOL and flag state regulations.
• Experience in engine room operations and watchkeeping.
• Ability to perform engine room maintenance tasks and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engine room watches at sea and in port as instructed.
• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of engine room equipment.
• Ensure machinery is adequately lubricated and clean; perform housekeeping.
• Maintain stores inventory as delegated by the 1st Assistant Engineer.
• Comply with safety, environmental and security procedures and regulations.
