SONAK CORPORATION is seeking an Occupational Health professional to oversee the company clinic, provide first aid, and coordinate pre-employment medical examinations (PEME) and annual physical examinations (APE). You will ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
The role involves administering treatments, monitoring employee health, reporting injuries, coordinating with the Safety Officer, and maintaining confidential records while supporting health promotion and wellness
Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees.
Conduct health assessment and monitor employees’ medical conditions
Manage and maintain the company clinic and medical supplies
Administer prescribed medications and treatments as needed.
Coordinate pre-employment medical examinations (PEME) and ensure proper documentation and clearance.
Lead the Annual Physical Examinations (APE), including monitoring, encoding, and follow-up of employees with identified or flagged medical conditions.
Coordinate return-to-work medical evaluations.
Immediate and regular reporting of workplace injuries and illnesses.
Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Standards of the Philippines.
Support implementation of Republic Act No. 11058.
Prepare, submit, and maintain medical and incident reports required by DOLE.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical records.
Coordinate with the Safety Officer in the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs in the workplace.
Serve as the assigned Qualified Person (QP) or licensed professional responsible for overseeing technical and regulatory compliance of the company clinic, in accordance with FDA requirements.
Validate medical certificates and review sick leave documentation.
Provide medical input for attendance and health-related employee cases.
Support return-to-work and work accommodation programs
Participate in administrative investigations involving medical concerns, as needed.
Assist in gathering government-mandated sickness or maternity documentation (e.g. SSS requirements).
Liaise with the company HMO provider for employee health-related concerns, including emergency hospital referrals and coordination of coverage assistance.
Assist and coordinate with HR/Benefits team and the HMO provider in the processing of employee enrollment, membership updates, and deactivation
Develop and implement workplace wellness programs.
Conduct health education sessions and safety orientations as mandated by DOLE.
Organize vaccination drives and health campaigns.
Provide initial counseling and refer employees to specialists when necessary.
Monitoring office supply requests for warehouse
Track employee clinic visits including medical supplies issued
File and organize LGU related, health and safety permits / certifications
