Job summary
GAIC Professional Services Inc. seeks an Offshore Engineering Manager/Director to stand up and operationalize its offshore engineering center in the Philippines. The role drives delivery across wireline and wireless programs, building processes, and leading a team of OSP designers and engineers.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of telecom engineering and offshore delivery leadership with hands-on experience in GIS, AutoCAD, IQGeo, and ArcGIS. You will partner with U.S.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of telecom engineering or offshore delivery leadership.
- Proven track record scaling offshore delivery centers (Philippines/India).
- Strong background in preproduction workflows, permitting, and QC.
- Hands-on familiarity with OSP design platforms (GIS, AutoCAD, IQGeo, ArcGIS).
- Experience supporting FTTH and wireless programs.
Responsibilities
- Operationalize and scale the offshore engineering center in the Philippines.
- Lead talent acquisition for OSP Designers, Engineers, and tech resources.
- Build delivery workflows, quality standards, and accountability structures.
- Partner with U.S. operations for ramp plans and capacity targets.
- Proactively mitigate offshore delivery risks including attrition and training gaps.
- Scale delivery into broader telecom programs beyond core fiber.
