Job summary

ChildFund Philippines Inc is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer I for a full-time fixed-term role based in Pasig City. The position is hybrid and grant-funded for 7 months, with hiring contingent on grant award.

The role leads the M&E design, data collection, and reporting, ensuring timely, high-quality data and adaptive management for the project. Collaboration with UNICEF and partners is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Health, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in M&E for development or health projects.
• Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Proficiency in M&E software and data visualization tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project’s results framework and develop M&E tools for data collection.
• Train project staff and partners on M&E tools and processes.
• Oversee all data collection efforts, ensuring data is collected, verified, and entered into the project database in a timely manner.
• Lead the analysis of project data against performance indicators (e.g., FIC rates, training completion, LGU budget allocation).
• Prepare M&E sections of progress reports for UNICEF and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight for the project’s baseline assessment.
• Remain alert and responsive to safeguarding risks, promote safeguarding practices per policy.

About This Role

The M&E Officer is responsible for leading the design and implementation of the project's M&E framework. This role will ensure that project performance is systematically tracked, data is of high quality, and results are reported accurately and on time to support adaptive management and accountability.

Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in M&E for development or health projects.
• Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Proficiency in M&E software and data visualization tools is an advantage
