Job summary

Wood Couture is expanding its international operations and establishing a new office in the Philippines. We seek an Office Lead with a strong technical background in FFE and interior projects to lead the development of our new operation.

The role requires deep understanding of FFE, joinery, materials and production processes, with responsibility for building and managing a new technical team and coordinating across global project teams.

We\'re Hiring | Office Lead – Technical & Operations

Wood Couture is expanding its international operations and is establishing a new office in the Philippines.

We are looking for a Office Lead – Philippines Office with a strong technical background in FFE and international interior projects to lead the development of our new operation.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands the technical side of FFE projects in depth and can also take ownership of building and managing a new office.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading the establishment and development of the Philippines office.
• Providing strong technical leadership across international FFE and interior projects.
• Managing and developing a high-performing technical team.
• Reviewing and overseeing technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, production requirements and project deliverables.
• Ensuring technical coordination between design, engineering, production, procurement and project teams.
• Working closely with international project teams and clients.
• Establishing processes and standards to ensure quality, accuracy and timely delivery.
• Supporting recruitment and building the technical team from the ground up.
• Managing office administration, facilities, suppliers, equipment and other operational requirements.
• Supporting budgeting, resource planning and cost control.
• Coordinating closely with WDCO\'s international offices and senior management.
• Taking ownership of operational and technical challenges and driving solutions.

Technical expertise is essential.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Strong technical experience in FFE / Fit-Out / Interior Projects.
• Proven experience working on international interior and FFE projects.
• Strong understanding of custom furniture, joinery, FF&E, materials, construction methods and production processes.
• Ability to understand and review technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Experience coordinating between design, engineering, production and project teams.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering projects to required quality and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of project workflows from design development through technical detailing, production and installation.
• Experience working with international clients, consultants, contractors or project teams.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of an operation.

Office set up & Administration

As this is a new Philippines office, the Office Lead will also play a key role in establishing the operation.

This includes:

• Supporting the setup of the new office.
• Helping establish local processes and systems.
• Recruiting and building the initial team.
• Coordinating office facilities, suppliers and operational requirements.
• Working with local professional advisers on relevant administrative and compliance matters.
• Managing resources and operational costs.
• Creating a structured and professional working environment.
