Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Odoo Programmer in the Philippines to develop and customize Odoo ERP modules, integrate third-party apps, and optimize system performance.

You will collaborate with business users and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, automated solutions that support digital transformation and efficient processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of Odoo development experience.
• Strong Python programming and Odoo framework knowledge.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and QWeb templates.
• Experience with Git and software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Odoo applications and enhancements.
• Create custom reports, workflows, dashboards, and integrations within Odoo.
• Perform bug fixing, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are maintained.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party applications.
• Create and maintain APIs and data exchange processes.
• Support data migration and system upgrades.
• Ensure smooth interoperability between Odoo and other business systems.
• Collaborate with key users to gather and analyze requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Recommend process improvements through automation and system enhancements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation activities.

• Monitor system performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades of the Odoo platform.

About the Role

The Odoo Programmer is responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and enhancing the company's Odoo ERP system. This role works closely with business users, functional teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve business processes, optimize system performance, and support the organization's digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Odoo Development & Customization

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Odoo applications and enhancements.
• Create custom reports, workflows, dashboards, and integrations within Odoo.
• Perform bug fixing, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are maintained.

System Integration

• Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party applications.
• Create and maintain APIs and data exchange processes.
• Support data migration and system upgrades.
• Ensure smooth interoperability between Odoo and other business systems.

Business Process Support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Odoo development and customization.
• Strong experience in Python programming and Odoo Framework development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Knowledge of Odoo architecture, workflows, modules, and system configurations.
• Experience in API integration, web services, and third-party system integrations.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and QWeb templates.
• Experience with Git version control and software development best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience supporting Odoo modules such as:

• Sales & CRM
• HR & Payroll
• Manufacturing
• Preferably with experience in the building materials, construction, home improvement, furniture, retail distribution, or related industries.
• Experience in ERP implementation and system migration projects.
• Microsoft 365 and Power Platform knowledge is an advantage.
