Job summary

Something Somewhere Consulting OPC is seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to design and implement ERP solutions for diverse clients in the Philippines. You will translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to deploy Odoo modules, including Odoo Studio, in real-world settings.

Ideal candidates have a degree in IT, hands-on Odoo configuration, and strong analytical communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
• Strong Python, XML, JavaScript; PostgreSQL; Linux familiarity.
• Experience in ERP, Odoo, Business Analysis, or Consulting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, or Project Management processes.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate client requirements into functional solutions.
• Detail-oriented, client-focused, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional analysis and requirements gathering for client engagements.
• Configure and customize Odoo modules (including Odoo Studio) for real deployments.
• Collaborate with technical teams on architecture, design, and integration.
• Prepare documentation and support UAT, training, and data migration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, with strong hands-on exposure to configuring/customizing modules (including Odoo Studio) and deploying Odoo in real business settings. (3+ years preferred)
• Solid technical skills: good understanding of Python, XML, JavaScript; experience with PostgreSQL; familiarity with Linux or related deployment environments.
• Experience in ERP, Odoo, Business Analysis, or Consulting is an advantage
• Knowledge of business processes such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, or Project Management
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Able to understand client requirements and translate them into functional solutions
• Detail-oriented, client‑focused, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working with clients and internal project teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo certification(s).
• Prior experience in other ERP systems or in comparable end-to-end system implementations.
