Job summary

Colas Rail APAC seeks an experienced Project Manager OCS to lead the Overhead Contact System delivery on the NSCR project. You will oversee planning, procurement, testing, energisation support and handover, coordinating civil works interfaces and a multidisciplinary construction team.

The role requires at least 10 years in railway construction with 7 years in OCS/overhead catenary, plus proven leadership, safety and quality oversight on major railway projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in railway construction, including at least 7 years in OCS / overhead catenary works.
• Proven track record in managing a complete OCS scope: planning, budget and cost control, procurement follow-up and site delivery.
• Ability to read OCS layout plans, setting-out plans and cantilever schedules; interface with civil works contractors.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the OCS construction programme aligned with master schedules and possession constraints.
• Oversee work methods, short-term programmes, resource plans and coordination with night/possession works.
• Monitor productivity, analyse variances, and report monthly on cost performance.
• Validate invoices, support IPC inputs, and assist with variations and claims.
• Chair progress and planning meetings; manage interfaces with Client, internal teams and contractors.
• Lead the OCS teams, conduct performance evaluations and mentor staff.
• Ensure safety, quality and risk controls, including electrical safety and permit-to-work procedures.
• Plan and support OCS testing, commissioning and handover with complete documentation.
