Job summary

Hitachi Rail STS S.P.A. in Manila seeks an experienced O&M Engineer to join a fast-paced team supporting railway systems across international projects.

The role requires a minimum 3 years of railway system engineering experience, knowledge of metro subsystems, and strong communication skills. You will contribute to budgeting, maintenance planning, and handover activities from design to operation, ensuring on-time deliverables and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years railway system engineering experience.
• Knowledge of the integrated railway subsystems and interfaces within metro systems.
• Experience with international projects and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proposal of Budget O&M Engineering activities on projects and O&M operating costs;
• Ensure apportionment of O&M project requirements and Asset Management strategy.
• Ensure on time provision of O&M deliverables in accordance with project schedule and budget.
• Prepare and issue guidelines for O&M Manuals, Training, Spare Parts, Tools, Pricing documents.
• Review design changes and participate in design reviews with the DB team.
• Support handover and transfer of requirements to The Operator; review during life cycle.
• Support maintenance activities from a technical perspective and during warranty period.
