Job summary

Maersk Philippines is hiring a Tender Analyst to support RFQ interpretation, bid formatting, and cross-functional coordination. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, pricing governance, and timely tender submission, with a clear handover to Contract Management for awarded tenders.

You will work closely with Sales, Pricing, Product and AFLS/SFDC systems to deliver compliant outputs. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and has 1+ year tender-related experience, strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduation required.
• 1 year+ tender-related experience and contract management.
• Tender process knowledge or similar work experience is required.
• Strong English communication skills.
• MS Excel proficiency.
• Ament to Pasig City morning shift.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, interpret scope, complexity, and missing information.
• Translate RFQs into Maersk-aligned bid formats using AFLS, CoPo/Athena, SFDC, etc.
• Coordinate with Pricing, Product, and Sales to validate feasibility and rate accuracy.
• Deliver complete, error-free tender outputs within agreed TAT.
• Align with Sales on deviations, clarifications, and required approvals.
• Support smooth transition to Contract Management for awarded tenders.
• Track tender performance, quality indicators, and cycle times.
• Share insights on system gaps and support AFLS Negotiation Platform, SFDC improvements.

Job description

Understands the customer tender, contracting requirements of Key clients or non-key clients.
and performs/updates the tasks/steps in the system as illustrated
without any supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Handling

• Review and interpret RFQs, identifying scope, complexity, and missing information.
• Translate RFQs into Maersk‑aligned bid formats using systems such as AFLS, CoPo/Athena, Negotiation Platform or SFDC, etc.
• Coordinate with Pricing, Product, and Sales to validate operational feasibility and rate accuracy.

Pricing & Data Quality

• Ensure correct application of commercial product logic (FT, inland, DRY PORT logic, SOC/NOR, IMO, surcharges, etc.).
• Validate data accuracy and eliminate errors before submission.
• Ensure compliance with pricing governance and approval flows.

Submission & Handover

• Deliver complete, error‑free tender outputs within agreed TAT.
• Align with Sales on deviations, clarifications, and required approvals.
• Support smooth transition to Contract Management for awarded tenders.

Reporting & Improvement

• Track tender performance, quality indicators, and cycle times.
• Share insights on system gaps and support enhancements to AFLS Negotiation Platform, SFDC.
• Participate in huddles and best‑practice sharing across areas.

Who are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree Graduate
• 1 year + Tender - related experience and contract management
• Tender process knowledge or any similar work experience is required.
• Strong communicator with Sales Team and Customer Success Partners.
• With relevant experience in shipping, logistics, forwarding, supply chain operations.
• Good English communications skills
• MS Office Proficient including Excel.
• Strong knowledge and navigation of AFLS, Maersk Online Systems and Athena is an advantage.
• Amenable to a morning shift schedule.
• Open to work in Pasig City.
