Lumina Therapy & Development Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis in Cainta, Rizal. In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to clients, helping them develop, improve, and maintain the skills needed for greater independence and participation in daily activities. You will work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals to create personalised, goal-oriented intervention plans that address each client's unique needs. This position plays an important role in Lumina's mission to provide high-quality, client-centered therapy and developmental services.
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to identify functional limitations, developmental concerns, and areas requiring intervention
Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, client needs, and functional goals
Provide direct occupational therapy sessions using evidence-based and developmentally appropriate intervention strategies
Address areas such as fine motor skills, gross motor coordination, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, activities of daily living, functional skills, and participation
Support clients in developing skills necessary for greater independence at home, school, work, and within the community
Design and implement therapeutic activities that promote functional development, participation, confidence, and independence
Monitor client progress through regular assessments and modify treatment plans as needed
Provide appropriate home programs and recommendations to support continued progress outside therapy sessions
Educate and coach parents, caregivers, and family members on strategies that can be incorporated into daily routines
Collaborate with Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physical Therapists, educators, physicians, and other professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Current professional license as an Occupational Therapist in the Philippines
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills
Knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions and practices
Experience in addressing developmental, sensory, motor, functional, and participation-related concerns
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working closely with clients and their families
Ability to develop positive therapeutic relationships and create a supportive therapy environment
Strong organisational and documentation skills with attention to detail
