• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental abilities.
• Identify difficulties affecting daily living, work, school, and social participation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, cognition, and functional skills.
• Train patients in activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, grooming, and personal care.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications when appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional and healthcare standards.
