Job summary

Sercomm Philippines Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to plan, monitor, and improve OBA testing and inspection processes in Laguna. The role involves audits, documentation, and root-cause analysis to resolve customer issues and ensure product quality.

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and have fresh graduate to 3 years of QA/QC experience, with strong MS Office and problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ECE/ME/EE/IE or related).
• Fresh graduate or 1–3 years experience as QA/QC Engineer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; auditing, ISO knowledge, QC tools, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and monitor OBA testing and inspection to ensure product quality.
• Conduct daily process compliance auditing and monitoring.
• Support new line and new product qualification processes.
• Lead generation of 8D reports for detected issues in OBA inspection.
• Ensure all 8D corrective/preventive actions are monitored and implemented.
• Ensure training and skills of OBA Inspectors and leaders are updated.
• Prepare and review procedures, SOPs, references, and other OBA documents.
• Report all relevant quality information accurately and take final action.
• Provide immediate information for OBA detections and abnormalities.
• Collaborate in root cause analysis with group discussions.
• Submit daily output and performance reports for OBA.
• Monitor assembly control run and establish OBA inspection plan.
• Support QRE related activities.
• Identify productivity and quality improvements.
• Support RCA and CA related to customer complaints.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate issues on OBA machine.
• Monitor shipment activity based on customer requirements.
• Review and check all FQC inspector activity.

Job Responsibilities and Authority:

• 1. Plan, conduct and monitor OBA testing & inspection process to ensure product quality.
• 2. Conduct daily process compliance audit and monitoring.
• 3. Support new line and new product qualification processes
• 4. Lead the generation of 8D report for product related issues encountered/detected during OBA inspection process.
• 5. Ensure that all 8D corrective/preventive actions aremonitoredand implemented.
• 6. Ensure that all training and skills of OBA Inspectors and leaders are reviewed/ updated.
• 7. Prepare, and review procedure, SOP, reference and other OBA related document.
• 8. Assure that all relevant quality information is reported accurately and completely, and the final action is taken is effectively
• 9. Immediate spearhead of information for any OBA detection & process abnormality.
• 10. Collaborate and attend with group analysis and discussion as necessary to determine the root cause of an identified problem.
• 11. Monitor and submit report related to OBA daily output and performance.
• 12. Monitor assembly control run, generate and establish OBA Inspection Plan
• 13. Support QRE related activities.
• 14. Provide and identify productivity and quality related improvements

Job Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (ECE,ME,EE, IE, any related course).

2. Work experience: Fresh graduate/1-3 years experience as QA/QC Engineer
