Job summary

Nephro Specialist is seeking an experienced dialysis unit supervisor to oversee all staff nurses and the Re-Use Technician, ensuring high morale, efficient workflow, and compliant patient care.

You will consult with Admin Officer regarding staffing and unit concerns, evaluate new patients and orientation, review dialysis care, handle emergencies, maintain hepatitis status records, and drive patient retention programs while improving facility efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all staff nurses and Re-Use Technician in the unit, including motivation and morale.
• Consult with Admin Officer/Facility Administrator on staffing and unit concerns.
• Evaluate new patients, assess dialysis requirements, and orient patients and companions to the dialysis procedure and facility.
• Review dialysis and direct patient care of nursing staff.
• Assist personnel with follow-up care of patients.
• In-charge of medical emergencies / code / situations.
• Maintain records in cooperation with the assigned nurse on hepatitis status in the dialysis unit.
• Responsible for the formulation of PATIENT RETENTION PROGRAM and patient spreadsheets.
• Implements new methods for improving facility efficiency and quality to care.

Job description

• Responsible for all staff nurses and Re-Use Technician in the unit including but not limited to providing motivation and helping maintain morale.
• Consult with Admin Officer/Facility Administrator regarding the staffing and unit concerns.
• Evaluate new patient (Assess patient’s requirements for HD treatment and Orientation given to patient and companion about the dialysis procedure and the facility).
• Review dialysis and direct patient care of nursing staff.
• Assist personnel with follow-up care of patients.
• In-charge of medical emergency / code / situations.
• Maintains appropriate records in cooperation with the assigned nurse on hepatitis negative(-) and hepatitis positive(+) in the dialysis unit.
• Responsible for the formulation of PATIENT RETENTION PROGRAM and patient Spreadsheet.
• Implements new methods for improving facility efficiency and quality to care.
