Job summary

Subic Bay Freeport Grain Terminal Services Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Health Services Assistant to provide emergency first aid, support health programs, and ensure strict compliance with safety procedures.

You will coordinate medicines and first aid supplies, respond to health inquiries with the Occupational Health Nurse, address health concerns, maintain clean work areas, and participate in relevant trainings. This on-site role reports to the Health Officer.

Qualifications

• Provides emergency first aid knowledge and basic health procedures.
• Familiarity with health and safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency first aid treatment in the workplace.
• Assists with equipment setup, supply movement, and Health and Safety procedures.
• Monitors employees’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports changes to the Health Officer or Health and Safety Department.
• Coordinates replenishment of medicines and other first aid supplies.
• Responds to health inquiries by clarifying, researching, and providing information with the Occupational Health Nurse.
• Assists in addressing health concerns by identifying issues, researching solutions, implementing actions, and escalating unresolved concerns.
• Processes and forwards health-related requests and transactions.
• Updates health and safety knowledge through relevant training and educational opportunities.
• Ensures all work complies with established safety procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the superior.
