Job summary

FLEXICOMPONENT INC. in Laguna is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to provide first aid and emergency care for employees, assess health conditions, and coordinate medical interventions as needed.

You will maintain medical records, monitor health status, and support health screenings and wellness programs in alignment with company policies.

Additionally, you will liaise with clinics and regulators, prepare health reports, and help ensure compliance with labor and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid treatment and emergency medical care to employees who suffer work-related injuries or illnesses.
• Assess employees' health conditions and recommend appropriate medical intervention or referral when necessary.
• Maintain and update employees' medical records, treatment logs, and health-related documentation.
• Monitor employees' health status and facilitate return-to-work evaluations as required.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with medical guidelines and company policies.
• Coordinate annual physical examinations, pre-employment medical examinations, and other health screenings.
• Assist in the implementation of occupational health and safety programs.
• Monitor workplace health hazards and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
• Conduct health education sessions, wellness programs, and awareness campaigns.
• Manage and maintain the inventory of medicines, medical supplies, and first aid equipment.
• Coordinate with accredited clinics, hospitals, healthcare providers, and government agencies regarding employee health concerns.
• Prepare and submit health and medical reports as required by management and regulatory bodies.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, including participation in Emergency Response Team (ERT) programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor, occupational safety, and health regulations.
