Job summary

Zachry Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to support health and safety programs in the workplace. The role involves health assessments, first aid, and emergency response, with visits to sick employees as needed.

The nurse will maintain the first-aid center, manage supplies, and coordinate regular health screenings. Candidates should be registered nurses with relevant certifications and 2–3 years’ experience in similar settings.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Nurse.
• Preferably with a valid First Aid and Basic Life Support certification.
• Preferably a certified Occupational Health and Safety Nurse.
• Has 2 to 3 years' experience as a company, clinic, or hospital nurse.
• Has knowledge and skills in emergency healthcare-related issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development and implementation of health and safety programs.
• Conducts efficient health assessments, as consulted, and in medical emergencies.
• Administers first-aid and/or emergency treatment for illness or injuries in the workplace.
• Accompanies a sick employee to the hospital as needed.
• Administers regular medications to employees, as needed.
• Maintains clean, and comfortable first-aid center.
• Ensure availability of medicines, and first aid supplies, and reliable medical equipment.
• Conducts home visit for sick employees, as needed.
• Records all employees’ injuries and illnesses and keeps confidentiality of these information.
• Coordinates the conduct of regular health screening such as APE and DT.
• Facilitates or conducts seminars or workshops on certain health topics and issues.
• Performs other related tasks as directed by the immediate superior.
